Security Sales
Consultant
Overview
Conduct security assessments and audits for clients to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and security needs
Develop customized security solutions and recommendations based on assessment findings
Collaborate with clients to implement security measures, which may include physical security, electronic surveillance, access control systems, and security policies and procedures
Provide expertise and guidance on security best practices and industry standards
Conduct security training sessions for clients' staff members as needed
Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and regulations in the security industry
Responsibilities
Strong knowledge of security principles, practices, and technologies
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients at all levels
Qualifications
Successful completion of a criminal background test, drug test, and clean driving record is required
Ability to travel (with own transportation) to client sites within the greater Washington DC area and occasionally beyond
Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours as needed
Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., criminal justice, security management) preferred
3+ years of experience in security consulting, risk assessment, or a related field
Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)) are a plus

Competencies
Ability to follow basic instructions with supervision

Ability to understand jobsite and company safety/cleanliness policies and procedures

Competencies

Possesses basic troubleshooting skills such as toning out wires and testing voltage
Understands basic circuitry and electronics
Possesses basic conduit installation skills
Proficiency installing & programming devices (I.E. motions, glass breaks, strikes, readers, cameras)
Ability to understand and interpret basic floor plans
Maintains professionalism
Experience & Educational Requirements
High School Diploma Required
DCJS Certification Required or Must Be Able To Obtain One
Must possess valid Driver’s License
Prior Electronic Security Technician Experience Required
Physical Demands
Must be able to lift 25lbs+

Security Technician Level 2
Competencies
Ability to follow instructions with little to no supervision
Advanced ability to read and understand blueprints and submittals
Advanced troubleshooting skills: i.e. change out servers, basic networking skills, basic programming
Ability to think analytically
Ability to install alarm panels, power supplies, and network enclosures proficiently
Advanced wiring and conduit skills
Ability to meet county inspectors at jobsite: has full understanding of project, answers questions efficiently in detail
Maintains professionalism
Ability to manage a team when Lead Technician is not present
