Just recently, as the year grew to an end, Force Security was invited overseas to Germany to visit the Mobotix headquarters for a Global Partner Conference. We were incredibly honored with the invitation, and even more honored to be invited to speak on behalf of the Americas as to what it means to be a Mobotix partner and to have the opportunity to showcase some of the unique integration that we have done with the Mobotix platform.

Last month, Force Security was invited and honored to attend the Mobotix Americas Partner Summit 2018 conference held at the Sheraton hotel in New Orleans. The conference gave attendees from Force Security an opportunity to gain an exclusive look at the new Mobotix company strategy and exciting trends such as cyber security and technology partnerships that are energizing the market. During the award ceremony Force Security was recognized for its outstanding partnership role in helping to protect its customers with advanced video technology with Mobotix and was awarded the prestigious Partnership of the Year for 2018.

Washington, DC – Force Security spent our Sunday enjoying America’s favorite pass-time while commemorating all of those that served and were lost 15 years ago during the attacks of 9/11. Employees and their families got together to celebrate a successful year and a successful National’s baseball season.

Force Security was invited to host a luncheon for over 35 Property Managers in DC last week as part of a monthly lunch and learn event. The lunch was held at Station Kitchen & Cocktails nestled amongst the historic internationally-inspired architecture of the surrounding embassy buildings.

Mobotix, a German-based manufacturer of High Resolution IP Security Video Surveillance Cameras and Software, held their Product Innovations and Workshops Seminar this past week in Miami Florida. During the ceremonies, Force Security, a Security Systems Integrator located in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area, was awarded the prestigious ‘Partner of the Year’ award.

This weekend is forecasting for another ‘blizzard’ in the DC area. The grocery stores are quickly running out of supplies and the counties are even closing down schools days early in anticipation and fear of potential inclement weather. We all know the cold can wreak havoc on your joints (mainly from shoveling your driveway 4 times) but it can also adversely affect your security systems.

Good news for any business looking for security cameras in Washington D.C. A recent press conference with DC Mayor, Muriel Bowser, had her petitioning to give businesses in the district the opportunity to be eligible for free money from the District of Columbia Government when purchasing and installing new cameras and camera systems. After the presentation to the DC Council, the bill was passed and the rebate can now be applied to any new camera installation.

Police are searching for a man who robbed the TD Bank off Sudley Road earlier this week.

Police say a man walked into the bank at 8401 Digges Road at 12:50 p.m. and demanded money from a teller. He then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash toward Bruton Parish and Plantation Lane.
